HIV Testing and Reduce HIV Sexual Risk Behaviors among African Americans and Latinos in East Oakland, California Region Alemada County Public Health Department

The primary purpose of this program is to reduce and prevent HIV and STD infection among high-risk women (ages 18-44) and high-risk youth (ages 12-24), with a focus on African Americans and Latinos, in East Oakland, California by using street outreach, mobile HIV testing, counseling, a small-group intervention, quarterly Town Hall HIV updates, and a mass media campaign.
